ANCHOR® 1040

Anchor® 1040 amine is a liquid, chemically-modified amine complex of boron trifluoride. It is a member of a series of Lewis Acid catalysts designed to provide cure over a wide range of temperatures. When compared with the well-known solid BF3-monoethylamine complex, the products in this series have the advantage of being freely compatible with liquid epoxy resins. When using Anchor® 1040 curing agent, do not employ alkaline fillers as they will inhibit cure.
