VPS 7163 is a colorless isocyanurato silane with a high concentration of trimethoxysilyl groups. Therefore it is a strong crosslinker. It can be used as an adhesion promoter on different types of substrates like metals and plastics. The molecule with the heterocyclic planar six membered ring system imparts good wetting and thermal resistance thus leading to good adhesion even at high temperatures on metal substrates.
VPS 7163 can be used in adhesives and sealants, in coatings as well as in primer formulations.
