RESPONSIBILITIES

• Technical visits and meetings for the promotion of products and technologies as solutions for customers, identifying and analyzing opportunities for business growth throughout the Latin American region;

• Training for customers, the technical‑commercial team, and distributors across the region;

• Participation, contribution, and support in global projects for the development of new products and technologies;

• Preparation of technical articles and presentations;

• Delivery of technical lectures at conferences, webinars, and other national and international events;

• Participation in trade shows and technical events within the region to identify opportunities and promote solutions;

• Analysis of product composition and identification of products from other regions to determine the best solution and improve business contribution margin;

• Participation and contribution in Evonik’s global applied technology and commercial groups to discuss technologies and products, share challenges, and identify solutions/products for customers;

• Market analysis to identify new opportunities for technical and commercial activities;

• Management and execution of application and development projects/tests, including preparation of reports for internal and external customers;

• Management of the Crosslinkers laboratory, including maintaining safe operating conditions, cleanliness, organization, and waste disposal;

• Development and updating of procedures for conducting key laboratory activities, ensuring the correct and safe handling of chemical products, and performing task risk assessments;

• Participation in multidisciplinary projects within Evonik.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related fields;

• Experience as a Chemical Laboratory Supervisor/Manager;

• Desired knowledge of coatings and, preferably, epoxy‑amine systems;

• Fluent English and intermediate Spanish;

• Experience delivering technical presentations to diverse audiences;

• Availability for domestic and international travel;

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with different cultures.
