RESPONSIBILITIES

• Leading, manage and develop an international, agile working team

• Initiates, supervises and supports a project portfolio with value contribution

• Lead high complexity projects from ideation through prototyping to production readiness

• Intensive stakeholder management across business, functions and other  departments within Evonik and external partners

• The role combines an understanding of the fields of IT, AI/ML, business, R&D and process know-how domains with data driven decision making to create impact at Evonik’s businesses.

• Drive the development of solutions relevant from proposal through prototype stage to the final solutions

• Drives innovation and new technologies which bring benefit to Evonik

REQUIREMENTS

• Master’s degree in computer sciences, business informatics, business administration or a related field

• More than 15 years’ of professional relevant experience

• Minimum 8 years of leadership experience in the international environment and in matrix organizations

• Strong commercial understanding and experience with business cases, budget and cost control

• Strong knowledge within the fields of AI, Machine Learning and/or new technologies

• High level of comprehension of business and R&D processes

• High level of initiative, assertiveness, and a team-oriented way of working

• Strong skills in strategic thinking
