Our Excel® Rejuvenation process has helped businesses achieve their Scope 3 emission targets while providing a 60% reduction in CO2eq/per kg of catalyst global warming potential (GWP) emissions, when compared to fresh catalysts.
We’ve brought catalyst re-use to tail gas treating with our EcoMax TG solution, which allows for a 75% lower total carbon footprint compared to tail gas catalysts. Refineries that have made the switch have been able to meet their emissions targets while lowering operating costs – supporting both economic and environmental goals.
Partnership is fundamental to our sustainability approach. Working with thyssenkrupp Uhde, we created our Hydrogen Peroxide to Propylene Oxide (HPPO) technology – a streamlined solution that offers significant environmental and economic benefits to traditional propylene oxide (PO) production. Implemented commercially across China, Hungary and South Korea, each generation of the technology has delivered measurable improvements in efficiency and sustainability – cutting steam consumption by 17% and contributing to lower operating costs and reduced CO₂ emissions.
