Low temperature curing and fast cure speed is important to reduce energy and to achieve short service times. We offer tailored polyurethane building blocks for powder coatings and epoxy curing agents that help our customers to achieve energy savings and achieve broader application windows.

Polyurethane building blocks

Our VESTAGON® BF grades are internally blocked PUR crosslinkers enabling the formulation of coatings with low emission values.

Curing can be achieved upon heating starting from 160 °C. Special low temperature curing grades starting from 120 °C are available.

VESTAGON® BF 1320

Internally blocked – thus blocking agent free - cycloaliphatic polyisocyanate adduct with a deblocking temperature of 160°C. Provides good mechanical properties with very high flexibility.

VESTAGON® BF 1321

Internally blocked – thus blocking agent free - cycloaliphatic polyisocyanate adduct with a deblocking temperature of 160°C. Provides good mechanical properties with very high flexibility and very good matting behavior in appropriate formulations.

VESTAGON® BF 1540

Internally blocked – thus blocking agent free - cycloaliphatic polyisocyanate adduct with a deblocking temperature of 160°C. Focus on very high flexibility coatings.

VESTAGON® EP BF 1350

Internally blocked – thus blocking agent free - cycloaliphatic polyisocyanate adduct with a deblocking temperature of 160°C. Delivers unique levelling for perfect glossy surfaces.

Epoxy curing agents

Our portfolio includes several hardeners with good low temperature curing profile and with high reactivity at ambient temperatures.

Depending on the application process and temperature there are different requirements for the curing behavior. Below products show excellent low temperature curing with different property profiles. This allows for application of epoxy systems under harsh outside conditions eand in winter time.
