The SEPURAN® N₂ product portfolio comprises advanced membrane solutions for onsite nitrogen generation across a wide range of applications. Evonik's fast and selective membrane types support different nitrogen flow rates, purity levels, and operating conditions, enabling tailored system designs for efficient nitrogen production.
High nitrogen purity, low air consumption, and flexible operation
Evonik’s SEPURAN® N2 membrane is specifically designed for efficient nitrogen production. It boasts low air consumption and high nitrogen capacity across a broad temperature range while maintaining stable performance throughout its lifespan.
It achieves nitrogen purity levels of up to 99.5%, making it ideal for creating inert atmospheres in various industries, including marine, aviation, oil and gas, and food.
With a pressure rating increase of up to 50% and options for ongoing technical support, SEPURAN® N2 membranes offer flexibility in operational parameters, helping to minimize investment costs.
The portfolio of nitrogen generation membranes can be divided into two types: fast and selective.
SEPURAN® N₂ Fast membranes for high nitrogen flow rates
SEPURAN® N2 fast membranes produce high, efficient Nitrogen flow rates. They can be applied with moderate temperatures and no limited feed air (e.g., Marine, FPSO).

SEPURAN® N₂ selective membranes for maximum nitrogen efficiency
SEPURAN® N2 selective membranes are optimized for producing Nitrogen very efficiently with minimum feed air consumption (low Air Factor). They can be specifically applied with high temperatures, limited feed air and smaller N2 capacity (e.g. Oil & Gas).
