VESTOSINT®

VESTOSINT® polyamide 12 (PA 12) powders are specially designed for use as durable, coating applications. Created through a unique dissolution and precipitation production process, VESTOSINT® powders are made up of virtually perfect, spherical particles that facilitate processing. Additionally, the polymer has robust properties that are suitable for many demanding coating applications, especially those requiring:

• excellent adhesion to metals
• high impact strength
• high mechanical strength, elasticity, and surface hardness
• low water uptake and water-vapor permeability
• good resistance to water, even warm or detergent-containing water
• very good resistance to greases, oils, fuels, hydraulic fluids, water, alkalis, saline solutions and many organic solvents
• low thermal conductivity
• good mechanical properties even at sub-zero temperatures
• good electrical insulation and dielectric strength
• ease of cleaning
• absence of bacterial growth
• high toughness
• high resistance to abrasion, and low coefficient of sliding friction
