Polymer Printing Plates with POLYVEST®
POLYVEST® is used as solvent-free plasticizer in UV-curable photopolymer printing plates (solvent washed) as well as in digital plates. The stereospecific, colourless and unsaponifiable polymer has a good compatibility with hydrocarbon resins, UV-cross-linkable monomers and UV-cross-linkers.
Flexible Packaging with DYNACOLL®
Flexible laminates for packaging applications are multi layer materials of paper, plastics films and metal foils. Depending on the requirements a broad range of 1C or 2C solvent free and solvent borne PU laminating adhesives are in use. Low molecular weight DYNACOLL® polyester polyols allow the formulation of high quality adhesives for reduced weight laminates. High molecular weight DYNACOLL® S copolyesters are recommended for primer applications and extrudable systems.
Food Packaging with DEGACRYL® Heat Sealing
DEGACRYL® binders for heat sealing applications are ideally suited for formulation of high-quality lacquers to provide a secure heat sealing for food packaging.
Our products show excellent seal and peel properties on aluminum foil or film structures like PET. Multi purpose sealing capabilities to a wide range of substrates like PS, PVC, PLA or PET are given- even to non polar substrates like PP. New product developments provide direct adhesion to aluminum or to PET and contribute to economical and environmental friendly packaging solutions.
All products comply with EU and FDA regulations for incident food contact.
Paper & Paper Packaging with VESTOPLAST®
The usage of VESTOPLAST® as main polymer in packaging hotmelt adhesives provides a balanced profile of excellent adhesion performance on different subtrates, adjustable open time and an improved hot tack compared to EVA. A very good flexibility and grades with different stability under thermal stress enables our customers to adjust the adhesive properties according to their requirements.
Pharmaceutical Blister-Packaging with DEGACRYL®
DEGACRYL® HS 4313 E - the innovative solution for pharmaceutical blister packaging!
DEGACRYL® HS 4313 E is an organic dispersion which can be formulated without the addition of any PVC copolymer. It has direct adhesion to aluminum and can be sealed to common blister substrates such as PVC. The result is a more environmental friendly packaging solution for pharmaceutical blister packaging.
Printing Inks & Paints with POLYVEST®
POLYVEST® provides excellent drying properties in heat-set and cold-set applications. The unfunctionalized and solvent-free POLYVEST® grades combine high and medium molecular weight with medium and low viscosity. These products have good pigment wetting properties and good pigment loading capabilities. POLYVEST® sinks deep into the paper pores in cold-set applications and react under ambient temperature with atmospheric oxygen.
