INFINAM® PEEK filaments are ready-to-use thermoplastics especially designed to produce robust, lightweight parts in industrial FFF or FDM 3D-printing.
What are PEEK thermoplastics?
PEEK, or polyether ether ketone, is a high-performance thermoplastic polymer that boasts excellent mechanical properties, including high temperature resistance, chemical resistance, and wear resistance. PEEK is an ideal material for use in demanding applications, such as aerospace, automotive, oil and gas, or medical devices to manufacture lightweight and high temperature resistant 3D parts.
PEEK filament for industrial 3D printing
Evonik’s INFINAM® PEEK filaments are specifically designed for use with extrusion-based 3D printing technology, such as fused filament fabrication (FFF), which also known as fused disposition modeling (FDM). Our filaments are carefully manufactured to ensure consistent diameter and excellent print quality, allowing for precise and reliable printing results.
One of the unique benefits of INFINAM® PEEK is its high temperature resistance, making it suitable for printing parts that need to withstand extreme heat. With a glass transition temperature of a152°C, INFINAM® PEEK can withstand long term temperatures up to 250°C or short term temperature up to 300°C, allowing for the creation of parts that can be used in harsh environments.
INFINAM® PEEK is also highly resistant to most organic and inorganic chemicals and only dissolves in concentrated sulfuric acid and nitric acid, making it a great choice for applications that involve exposure to corrosive substances. Its excellent wear resistance also makes it ideal for use in high-stress applications.

INFINAM® PEEK 9359 F - filament for lightweight parts
Over the years, fused filament fabrication (FFF) of high-temperature, aerospace-grade thermoplastics like PEEK has become a reliable and high-precision method for 3D-printing complex parts. Items printed with INFINAM® PEEK exhibit outstanding properties like:
- excellent performance in heat resistance and chemical resistance
- good warpage resistance
- inherent flame retardancy with low smoke and toxicity
- resistance to gamma radiation, 250C steam and hydrolysis
- excellent wave transmission performance compared to metal
Our INFINAM® PEEK 9359F filaments feature an unique crystallization that significantly improves adhesion between layers in the vertical direction. Compared to 3D printed stainless-steel parts, INFINAM® PEEK-based 3D printed objects are 80% lighter in weight and 30% tougher with excellent fatigue resistance making applicable as substitution to 3D printing metal. Due to INFINAM® PEEK’s superior wear resistance and low sliding friction, lightweight structural parts can be manufactured easily.
Delivery of INFINAM® PEEK 9359 F
INFINAM® PEEK 9359F has the nominal diameter of 1.75 mm (+/- 0.04 mm*) and is ready for FFF/FDM printing. It is supplied on spools with different volumes. The weight of 250 g, 500 g, 1 kg and 2 kg are available. Customers can choose the appropriate volume according to their parts or printing capacity.
The spools are packaged in vacuumed plastic bags, sealed off from moisture. Our filaments is manufactured to the highest standards, ensuring that your printed parts will be of the highest quality.
