RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and deliver required site maintenance services under the leadership of more senior colleagues.
- Oversee an operational area with guidance from senior colleagues. Could involve responsibility for development or delivery (or both).
- Troubleshoot and diagnose highly complex equipment and systems for emergency repairs.
- Communicate the local action plan; explain how this relates to the function's strategy and action plan and the broader organization's mission and vision; motivate people to achieve local business goals.
- Follow the organization's HS&E policies, procedures and mandatory instructions, to identify and mitigate environmental risks and risks to the wellbeing of oneself and others in the workplace. Identify patterns of risky behavior within the team and take appropriate action to resolve these, escalating serious issues as appropriate.
REQUIREMENTS
- University (First degree)
- Substantial general work experience together with comprehensive job related experience in own area of expertise to fully competent level.
- Experience of planning and managing resources to deliver predetermined objectives as specified by more senior managers.
- Uses comprehensive knowledge and skills to work independently while providing guidance and training to others on planning, organizing, prioritizing and overseeing activities to efficiently meet business objectives.
- Uses comprehensive knowledge and skills to work independently while providing guidance and training to others on developing appropriate plans or performing necessary actions based on recommendations and requirements.
- Applies comprehensive knowledge to act independently while providing guidance and training to others on using clear and effective verbal communications skills to express ideas, request actions and formulate plans or policies.
- Uses comprehensive knowledge and skills to work independently while providing guidance and training to others on developing, monitoring, interpreting and understanding policies and procedures, while making sure they match organizational strategies and objectives.
- Works without supervision and provides technical guidance when required on reviewing and creating relevant, lucid and effective reports.
- Applies comprehensive knowledge and skills to independently manage and apply safe systems of work while providing guidance and training to others.
- Works without supervision and provides technical guidance when required on making sure the organization develops and maintains the culture, values and design it needs to reach its objectives while managing structural change.
- Works without supervision and provides technical guidance when required on motivating all employees to learn, grow and develop so that they can obtain the knowledge and experience they need to help the organization reach its goals.
- Identifies, assesses, prioritizes and manages risks in a production process without supervision and provides technical guidance when required.

- Applies understanding of the business environment and objectives to develop solutions without supervision, while also providing technical assistance when necessary.
