Procurement offers the potential to make efficient decisions even before the actual start of production. These decisions have a significant influence on downstream processes. This is why engineering experience or a chemical background are also in demand in this area.

Evonik's Procurement department works in a global network consisting of over 35,000 suppliers in more than 100 countries. They work on key questions such as how to make our supply chains more sustainable, how to improve our data quality and technologies, and how to design our risk management.

Cross-process thinking is particularly important here!  

Supply chain management at Evonik deals with end-to-end processes and the interaction with numerous functions of the company, including logistics, IT, purchasing, sales, production, and controlling.
