Our local footprint includes several key facilities. The world’s largest methionine production complex on Jurong Island, expanded in 2024 and integrated with green hydrogen technology, reduces the product carbon footprint and strengthens our sustainability commitment.
We also operate an oil additives plant that supports mobility and industrial applications across the region. In Tuas, two manufacturing sites produce epoxy curing agents, resins, polyurethane catalyst blends, and operate a catalyst recovery center. In addition, a new alkoxides plant opened in 2024, completing Evonik’s global alkoxides network across Singapore, Germany, the U.S., and Argentina.
The plant supports sustainable biodiesel production from vegetable oils, used cooking oils, and waste-based feedstocks, as well as the synthesis of active ingredients and fine chemicals for life sciences. These facilities are supported by our regional R&D and applications teams, driving innovation and collaboration with customers across the region.

Basically, in all segments, as well as in the service units, the Corporate Center, and at all sites throughout the world. We deploy interns in various projects and make use of their skills to develop and implement new topics. Based on the work of the company, we especially look for chemistry, engineering, and economics students.
Evonik has multiple sites in Singapore, including two production plants on Jurong Island, one in Tuas, and one in Gul Crescent. In addition to our Asia Research Hub in Biopolis, we have a sales and administrative office in Jurong East.
Since Evonik has a research center and multiple production sites in Singapore, we constantly look for specialized technicians and engineers for those locations in addition to supply chain and logistics experts, sales managers, marketing managers, scientists, customer service specialists, and a number of other supporting functions.
