Evonik's Engineering Talent Acquisition and Development Program (ETAD) offers an opportunity for recently graduated engineers who aspire to have a technical leadership role in a reputable multinational organization.
ETAD specifically aims to make Evonik better by providing technical leadership through valuable contributions for all of Evonik. The program is a part of Evonik’s engineering organization (NextGen Technologies - NGT), ensuring participants have an opportunity to work on a variety of engineering projects over the course of the program. Participants in the program will undergo targeted technical training and development, where they will learn the skills needed to participate in work such as process design, process improvement, project engineering, process safety engineering, and digitalization.
What We Are Looking For
- Majors Accepted: Chemical engineering (BS, MS, PhD)
- Technical Experience: Value added internship / research experiences
- Extracurricular Experience: Leadership and/or active involvement in organizations, committees, programs, events, etc.
ETAD is a key source of engineering talent for Evonik, with engineers from ETAD going on to lead businesses, operations, supply chains, and innovation globally. They have achieved great feats such as inventing new processes, constructing plants, and utilizing AI in diverse fields. Graduates of the program hold positions across the company, in a variety of fields such as plant engineering, research and development, applied technology, and controlling.
Benefits of Joining ETAD
- You will be learning and using valuable technical skills to solve complex problems at Evonik production sites
- Opportunities to visit and work with various sites across the region
- Be part of a global network, with access to subject matter experts in all areas of industry
- At the Mobile site, you will be part of a community with your fellow ETADs as you learn and work
The two years I have been in the ETAD program has allowed me to explore multiple process engineering disciplines while developing skills in topics I am interested in. Those experiences in my first two years have allowed me to decide what to focus my third year on as I relocate within the ETAD program to another site. While focusing on Process Safety for my third year, the broad experience from the first two years has been extremely valuable in my development overall as an engineer.
