RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare and maintain the fixed assets register (capitalization, transfer, write-off/ disposal, impairment and workflow request).
• Execute month end close, quarter & year end close activities in accordance with work instructions and month end closing checklist.
• Assist in trouble shooting, decision making, identification and communication of potential issue.
• Establish and maintain strong working relationship with Local Services, cross team and Center of Excellence
• Ensure all work instructions, standard operating procedures and local specific variances are updated and reviewed.
• Participate in continuous improvement in process efficiency and effectiveness.
• Support Local Services in terms of internal and external audit
• Conduct month end activities and to ensure the activities are performed within the set timeline and ensure the Internal Control System (ICS) documentation is in place.
• Monitor and ensure the queries are attended and revert in a timely, responsible and proactive manner
• Support standardization across regions and globally by focusing on alignment of end to end business process areas, system and tools
• Undertake in any adhoc assignment, projects and migrations that may be assigned from time to time.
• Undertake any other assignments/ projects that may be assigned from time to time.

REQUIREMENTS

• Holds a bachelor’s degree or Professional Qualification in Accounting or Finance.
• At least 2-3 years of relevant working experience.
• Familiarity with Fixed Asset process and IFRS16 is an added advantage.
• Computer literate and have experience working in SAP or other major ERP system’s work environment would be an added advantage .
• A team player, meticulous, able to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
• Exposure to shared services environment would be preferred
• Candidates assigned to support the APAC regions.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work well both independently and in a team-oriented environment
• Good verbal & written communication skills in Mandarin & English.
