Job Title : Associate Manager / Manager - Instrumentation
Entity : Evonik Catalysts India
Work Location : Dombivli
Reporting to : Head of Engineering & Projects
Purpose of the Position :
To lead the Instrumentation section to ensure Plant Engineering & Project’s Instrumentation requirement to run the business/operations smoothly.
Key Responsibilities :
Overall responsibility of Instrumentation activity.
Responsible for planning & execution of preventive maintenance according to the planned schedule.
Updating SOP’s & checklist in accordance to get the preventive maintenance done.
Provide continues trainings to employees to educate and keep abreast them on latest technology & practices and as well to upgrade team in quality attributes in working.
Plan & co-ordinate with vendor for Annual maintenance visit.
Installation, testing and commissioning of HV/LV Projects, Power Generating Stations, Transmission and Distribution System.
Coordinating with process and Mechanical department for planning and execution of maintenance of the equipment.
Monitoring & control of Daily Power, fuel & water efficiency report by implementing CIP plan.
Budgeting for annual maintenance requirement and adhere to the limit specified by management.
Responsible for carrying out of scheduled Annual testing.
Responsible for carrying out calibration & preventive maintenance of instruments at site.
Handling & coordinating with vendors for PLC system troubleshooting & updation.
Compliance of statutory & regulatory requirements as per schedules.
Maintaining records related to QMS & EHS implementation.
Responsible for ISO documentation as per required standards.
Strictly adhere to safety standards.
Undertake any Adhoc activities as assigned by senior.
Education, Certification, and Relevant Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Instrumentation with minimum 08 years of experience in plant maintenance (Instrumentation) and project management activities related to Electrical and Instrumentation.
Technical Knowledge
Strong knowledge of Plant Engineering related to Instrumentation, Automation, PLC, SCADA, and DCS systems, specifically in chemical industries.
Basic understanding of environmental protection units and the legal requirements applicable to the site.
