This position primarily focuses on the procurement of indirect materials and services, ensuring quality, safety, cost efficiency, and security of supply. Additionally, the role involves supporting key procurement platforms (such as Ariba, SAP, and Invoice Track) to enhance operational efficiency and user experience. Candidates with Ariba experience are preferred, but the role will prioritize buyer responsibilities if such expertise is unavailable.

Key Responsibilities

1. Buyer Responsibilities

• Procurement Operations:
  • Purchasing of indirect materials and services in accordance with quality, safety, time, cost efficiency, and security of supply requirements.
  • Independent processing of procurement requisitions and negotiations, including supplementary management of individual requirements.
  • Processing of complaints and enforcement of claims related to defects or quality issues.
  • Participation in supplier evaluations and performance monitoring.
  • Documentation and maintenance of procurement files and records.
• Process Optimization:
  • Support in carrying out analyses to optimize procurement processes in assigned categories.
  • Identify, develop, and implement measures to improve procurement efficiency.
  • Ensure the correct use of procurement channels (e.g., order, call-off, Ariba, etc.).

2. Ariba and System Support Responsibilities

• Ariba Support:
  • Provide user support for Ariba-related queries and issues.
  • Assist with catalog management and vendor onboarding processes.
  • Perform annual maintenance of Ariba backend data to ensure system accuracy and a seamless user experience.
• Procurement System Operations:
  • Process order confirmations in Invoice Track (IVT).
  • Support the rollout of procurement system functionalities across the APAC region.
  • Facilitate expediting activities to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Provide support for contract creation and management in SAP.

Qualifications

• Education:
  • College or University diploma/degree.
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Candidates with relevant working experience will have an advantage.
• Skills and Competencies:
  • Proficiency in English and Mandarin (additional languages are a plus).
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes and system functionalities.
  • Experience with procurement platforms such as Ariba, Invoice Track (IVT), and SAP is preferred.
  • Skilled in multitasking, teamwork, and communication; self-directed, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently.
