The Electrical and Instrumentation Supervisor is coordinate the safe daily maintenance activities with operations, engineering and contractor following the daily schedules. The E&I Supervisor assigns predictive, preventive maintenance tasks to ensure the works are accomplished in a safe, efficient and effective manner and according to the agreed methods.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage, execute, and update weekly maintenance schedules to optimize manpower, productivity, and minimize downtime.  
  • Plan and schedule unplanned maintenance activities. Coordinate manpower with contractors and external vendors for job preparation and execution.  
  • Provide clear instructions to contractors and discuss task priorities with plant engineers, planners, and production staff.  
  • Work closely with Plant Engineers, Maintenance Planner, Operations and other discipline coordinators and participate in regular/ad-hoc coordination meetings.  
  • Ensure proper withdrawal, return, refurbishment, or replacement of parts with logistics.  
  • Offer on-site technical expertise to contractors.  Manage SAP work orders and documentation for unplanned activities.
  • Spot-check maintenance tasks and document process improvements. Oversee plant turnaround schedules and startup processes.
  • Deliver technical training and introduce plant equipment to contractors.  Manage field execution of maintenance activities by coordinating with contractors, performing field check and ensuring that the job is performed safely, efficiently and effectively. 


REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications and Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (preferred) or High School/FE.
  • 5–10 years of maintenance field experience as a technician, planner, or supervisor.  
  • Expertise in plant maintenance processes and equipment (4160 voltage and below, PLCs, instrumentation, and controls).  
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and state/federal codes.

Skills and Competencies:  

  • Proven ability to supervise people and resources to meet objectives efficiently.  
  • Strong planning, organizational, and prioritization skills.  
  • Effective verbal communication and report-writing capabilities.  
  • Skilled in aligning policies with organizational goals and implementing action plans.  
  • Extensive knowledge of safe systems of work, with training and management experience in safety protocols.  

Summary Compensation & Benefits:

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. (Specific rate to be determined, but not limited to, geographic location, education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data).

Pay Range: $83,900-$139,800
