RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop engineering skills, provide solutions for project, technology transfer, or process control issues.
  • Maintain and update PSI-related documentation, including Plant P&IDs, engineering specifications, drawings, relief device calculations, and trips & alarms lists, as and when process changes occur.
  • Lead process-related MOC activities and review/approve site and regional MOCs as needed
  • Manage small capital projects, including the development, coordination, and execution of work plans, to support plant maintenance and operational improvements.
  • Collaborate with business management, product technology, and functional teams to identify, develop, and implement projects to meet customer needs.
  • Stay updated on processes, project scope changes, and their impacts to ensure successful project execution and alignment with business goals.
  • Lead and coordinate programs to enhance operational efficiency and reduce operational costs.
  • Identify and implement innovative ideas to optimize costs, improve productivity, and streamline processes for better performance.
  • Identify and recommend equipment to improve capacity, quality, and cost efficiency

REQUIREMENTS

  • Incumbent is expected to have Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering with a Minimum of 3-5 years of experience.
  • Incumbent is expected to have knowledge of Singapore regulations and experience in process engineering.
  • Experience with a multinational chemical company with established safety, health and environmental programs would be ideal.
  • Certified as Energy Manager in Singapore (meets NEA requirement) would be advantageous.
  • English language is a must
