PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
Manage Supply Chain department, including Production scheduling, Raw Material planning, internal & external Warehouse management and Logistics as well as Customer Service in an efficient manner; supervise, control and ensure availability of raw materials, packaging materials for production, and finished goods for shipping to customers globally.
Responsible for supply chain processes including offer-to-cash and plan-to-produce.
Manage KPIs related to Supply Chain and support Operation KPIs (net OEE, Losses, utilization, WH performance).
Cooperate with regional SCM and Product management for operation planning (S&OP).
Strictly follow relevant EHS procedures & requirements, ensure managed teams work safely and efficiently.
Manage and Optimize shipping and freight costs for finished goods deliveries.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise to ensure all activities in Supply Chain and Logistic department strictly follow Site EHS policy, guidelines and procedures and in compliance with all applicable national laws and local authority regulations as well as Evonik regulations.
Lead Supply Chain team including Contractors and maintain up-to-date procedures and SOPs.
Participate in S&OP meetings and meetings with SCM, Sales and Production teams, coordinate with regional Supply chain to allocate sales plan match production utilization, based on current actual demand and target stock levels
Support EPS activities in the warehouse & logistics area, implement and maintain KPIs and tools (5S, Kanban) to continuously improve efficiency, monitor and track logistics and warehouse relevant KPIs, maintain required reporting in a timely manner.
Liaise with procurement to ensure on-time purchase request and purchase order for Raw materials, packaging and other supplies. Together with procurement department, do supplier evaluation (direct procurement). Provide timely reporting to management of supplier performance problems and facilitate a resolution.
Ensure adequate raw materials, packaging, supplies are on hand or can meet delivery requirements to allow the operations to operate efficiently and with a minimum of down time.
Control and optimize net working capital (NWC) for the company in cooperation with Finance department.
Take Responsibility for ISCC+ Certification for sustainable raw material and eCO products.
Distribution – Supervise and Manage the logistic team and responsible for all inbound and outbound logistics & shipping for both domestic and export activities. Ensure efficient utilization of warehouse, docking facilities etc. and compliance with all local transportation regulations. Monitor receipts and transfers ensuring timely delivery and availability of products as well as in accordance with inventory plan and ensure target order fill rates are being met for customer orders.
Cooperate with QM and production to handle non-conforming (NC) products, Conduct root cause analysis of service complaints & and prepare and prepare 8D reports, Take Responsibility for investigation of Service complaints.
Schedule equipment maintenance and inspection on regular basis during grade changes to ensure productivity and minimal downtime in cooperation with Maintenance department.
Other assignments / Special tasks in alignment with plant manager.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in Chemist, Chemical or Industrial Engineering required, or related fields
Minimum 5 years prior experience working in production, Supply Chain or related fields with relevant experience in the chemical process industries
Good Knowledge of management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, IATF 16949) and GHP, HACCP, FSSC 22000
Supply chain management
Fundamental Knowledge of Logistics & Packaging and Production Planning
Fluent in Thai and English
