RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drive market research, analyze market intelligence including competition, regulations, drivers & trends, market data including regional market size, supply/demand balance, import statistics, customer needs and portfolio gaps.
  • Closely cooperate with regional and global key stakeholders to establish profitable and sustainable regional market & growth strategies based on profound regional market knowledge.
  • Create region-specific value proposition and promotion strategies for introduction of new products/services, including designing concrete marketing measures (eg. customer seminars, marketing materials etc.)
  • Create lead/target list for defined applications (based on global input), verify fit and approaches leads jointly with sales. 
  • Support sales on customer development plan, by leading / participating in customer product / business development project with systematic approaches.
  • Search and identify potential strategic partners and target projects based on profound insights of local market dynamics.
  • Coordinate with global PL/PG on pricing activities in the region.
  • Initiate MarCom activities, incl. trade shows planning, and participate marketing events such as trade shows, exhibitions and conferences.
  • Manage regional specific EXM - activities by identify and approach local tollers, suppliers following Evonik EXM compliance and practice.


REQUIREMENTS

  • Master degree or above, major in chemistry or chemical engineering
  • At least 5 years working experience in business or marketing development
  • Solid experience in market research
  • Strong negotiation skill
  • Be able to work within different cultures
  • Fluent oral and written English
