RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Accountable for increasing revenue and profit margins in Brazil for designated key accounts.
  • Responsible for 69% of the current turnover of Health Care in Brazil
  • Work on the improvement of the relationship with our key accounts establishing good networking in the Top Management of those customers fostering the opportunities to introduce the portfolio of products and services from Health Care
  • Act as the one face to the customer for BL Health Care products and services throughout the developmental and commercial phases. Interact with all levels of management both within Evonik and at the customer.
  • Identify customer opportunities leveraging Evonik’s product, technology, and service portfolio
  • Qualify opportunities with support of Evonik’s experts by linking the experts with customer’s experts
  • Advice Stakeholders and management upon the prioritization of potential projects with respect to the ability to expand the technology base and contribute to long term business growth.
  • Prepare offers and project proposals in conjunction with internal resources
  • Participate to the contract negotiation (Confidential Agreements, Supply Agreements, Service Agreements, License agreements, Material Transfer Agreements, Quality agreement…) as required. Internal support will vary depending on the type of agreements and could include IP, legal support, Quality/Regulatory and Business Development groups.
  • Develop short and long- term forecasts and business plans for the accounts. Prepare marketing programs
  • Establish a presence with the main trade associations and industry forums in his region.
  • Proactively monitory and anticipate new trends in the Brazilian Pharma market and gain insights for potential benefit for Evonik.
  • Active communication: Issue call reports and monthly reports in a timely manner.
  • Maintain internal databases (CRM, APM, IBP) and attend required meetings.


REQUIREMENTS

  • Graduated in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biology and/or related sciences;
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably in technical-commercial positions in ingredients and technologies;
  • Experience in business development;
  • Experience in Technical Services - desirable;
  • Strong ability to build relationships at various levels of the organization, scientific community and in interaction with different cultures;
  • Fluent English;
  • Spanish - desirable
