Job Title : Executive - Logistics

Entity : Evonik India

Work Location : Thane

Purpose of the Position :

• To coordinate the custom clearance, documentation and transportation.

• Support logistics functions.

Key Responsibilities :

• Coordinate with Clearing House Agents (CHA’s) for initiating the custom clearance activities in time and handling documentation.

• Checking and approving draft of “bill of entry” before it is filed in customs.

• Coordinating with Logistics team for payment of duty through ECL a/c.

• 1st Approval of invoices in IVT for Transportation Costs

• Co-ordinating with transporter & warehouse to ensure material is unloaded at the warehouse and empty container is sent back to shipping company.

• Assisting the person in charge in troubleshooting for issues related to transportation.

• Coordinating with CHA for MIS statements on daily basis on status of activities

• Responsible for maintaining monthly reports & MIS for tracking the activities. To provide data to the team as & when required.

• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor from time to time

Education & Experience

• Candidates with any graduate degree, along with a diploma in Logistics or Supply Chain Management, will be preferred.

• A minimum of 3-4 years of experience in logistics or shipping line is required.  

• Experience in import operations will be considered an added advantage.
