Silica is a multi-purpose additive for dish wash formulations
Silica is a versatile additive for the whole range of dish wash products – from hand dishwashing liquids to compact single dosage dishwasher tabs and pods. AEROSIL® and SIPERNAT® contribute to highly effective, easy-to-handle, and environmentally friendly detergents, matching different cleaning needs. AEROSIL® fumed silica allows for targeted rheology control and stabilizes dispersed particles in dish wash formulations. SIPERNAT® hydrophilic precipitated silica can be used as an opacifier. In dishwasher powders and tabs, SIPERNAT® silicas serve as free-flow and anti-caking agent. As a naturally derived mineral ingredient, silica is not harmful to aquatic environments or wastewater plants.
