The plant in Map Ta Phut has been in operation since 1990 and was expanded to better meet customer needs in 2014.
As one of the leading manufacturers of silica, the precipitated silica (SIPERNAT® and ULTRASIL®) Evonik produces can be used in tires with low rolling resistance as well as in the paints and coatings industry, as flow additives and carriers in food, cosmetics and drug production, or in manufacturing silicon applications, among others.
