Evonik Signs Memorandum of Understanding on Carbon Capture

Evonik signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with A*STAR, the Singapore Economic Development Board, JTC, and 12 other ecosystem partners to explore the development of a Carbon Capture and Utilization Translational Testbed facility on Jurong Island. This initiative aims to accelerate industry adoption of emerging Carbon Capture and Utilization technologies.

Insects have great potential as a sustainable protein souce to feed animals, with lower greenhouse gas emissions, land use, and water requirements than traditional livestock feed ingredients. The project aims to optimize Black Soldier Flies diets to maximize sustainability outcoumes in livestock production while continuing to provide safe and healthy meat.
