Evonik has been actively involved in various industries in Thailand for over 35 years, having opened its first office in 1989. Currently, the company manages a sales office in Bangkok and operates two production sites in Rayong and Saraburi.

To strengthen our operations in Thailand, we expanded our silica production site for precipitated silica in Map Ta Phut, Rayong, a joint venture between Evonik Industries and Oriental Siam Company, to better serve the automotive industry, food and animal feed industry, as well as the paints and coatings industry. 

To further enhance Evonik’s hydrogen peroxide and peracetic acid specialties business in Asia Pacific, the company fully acquired Thai Peroxide Company Limited (TPL) in 2023, expanding its offerings of specialty-grade hydrogen peroxide and peracetic acid in the fast-growing Asia Pacific market.
