• Proven Expertise: Evonik develops tailored solutions enabling enhanced printability and surface quality.
• Waterborne and Low-VOC Options: DEGACRYL® HS 4240 D is a water-based binder for heat seal lacquers. Dynasylan® SIVO 110 is an almost VOC-free waterborne sol-gel system. TEGO® Wet 270 eCO and VISIOMER® eCO EHMA apply the mass balance approach; VISIOMER® eCO EHMA is ISCC PLUS certified.
• Performance: From ink absorption to oil resistance, our additives deliver cost‑efficient solutions without compromising performance.

Packaging & Food Contact

• With DEGACRYL® paper coatings the paper becomes heat-sealable while certain barrier properties – for instance against water or grease – are being improved. Available as solvent-based and water-based binders; DEGACRYL® HS 4302 E is designed for pharmaceutical blister packaging and other applications.
• Dynasylan® – Silane technology for hydrophobic and oleophobic barriers, protecting against moisture and oils.
• VESTOPLAST® – Amorphous poly-alpha-olefins for hot-melt adhesives and flexible, durable coatings in packaging applications. Grades differ in melt viscosity, open time, softening point and thermal stability under load.

Inkjet & Specialty Printing

• SURFYNOL® – Wetting agents for uniform coating and defect reduction.
• DYNOL™ – Dynamic wetting agents for high-speed inkjet processes.
• NANOPOL® – Nanostructured dispersions for enhanced ink absorption and color brilliance.
• TEGO® – Surface modifiers for smooth finishes and improved printability.

Thermal & Functional Papers

• VISIOMER® Amino Methacrylates, e.g. VISIOMER® MADAME and VISIOMER® DMAPMA - Specialty Methacrylates with adhesion properties to various substrates.
• VISIOMER® Terra C13-MA and VISIOMER® Terra C17,4-MA – Enhances flexibility and water resistance of the final coating. Both are long alkyl chain methacrylates from renewable raw materials with bio-carbon content certified according to ASTM D6866: 76 % for Terra C13-MA and 81 % for Terra C17,4-MA.
• VPS 7163 – Isocyanurato silane with a high concentration of trimethoxysilyl groups, acting as a strong crosslinker and adhesion promoter on metals and plastics.

• Optimized Coating Properties: Better flexibility, durability, and print quality.
• Bio-Based and Mass-Balanced Options: The VISIOMER® Terra range offers methacrylates from renewable raw materials with certified bio-carbon content; VISIOMER® eCO EHMA is a mass-balanced grade with reduced carbon footprint, ISCC PLUS certified.
