The business lines Comfort & Insulation, Interface & Performance, Coating Additives, Coatings & Adhesive Resins, Catalysts and Oil Additives together form the group “Additives”.

The business lines Care Solutions and Health Care belong to the life science unit “Health & Care”.

In the Advanced Technologies segment, we focus on efficiency through high levels of technological expertise and operational excellence. Businesses in this segment include high-performance polymers, crosslinkers, hydrogen peroxide and silica, and feed additives.

Innovations in the Advanced Technologies segment aim to further optimize the resource and energy efficiency of our production processes, many of which are high-volume, continuous manufacturing systems.

Sustainability is a key market driver, and reducing the carbon footprint of our products is a top priority for Evonik.

Our businesses in the Advanced Technologies segment are innovating to grow in the areas of energy transition and the circular economy.

The business lines Crosslinkers and High Performance Polymers belong to the unit “Organics”. The business lines Smart Effects and Active Oxygens together form the unit “Inorganics”. In addition, the business line Animal Nutrition belongs to the Advanced Technologies segment.

The Infrastructure segment bundles the site-related infrastructure activities of the Marl and Wesseling sites in Germany and also includes the Oxeno business line (C4 chemicals).
