Operational since 2025, Evonik’s world‑scale alkoxides production facility on Jurong Island strengthens the company’s global catalyst strategy and supports the growing demand for alkoxides across Asia. Built to the highest safety and environmental standards, the plant operates entirely on renewable electricity and was recognised for Innovation in Decarbonisation at the EuroCham Sustainability Awards 2025. The plant is capable of operating with net‑zero Scope 1 and 2 carbon emissions, underscoring the company’s commitment to sustainable, customer‑focused operations.
With an annual production capacity of 100,000 metric tons, the facility enhances regional supply security and responsiveness, supporting key industries such as biodiesel, pharmaceuticals, and chemical recycling. The plant also completes Evonik’s global alkoxides production network, joining existing sites in Germany, the U.S., and Argentina.
