• Evonik's aquaculture solutions target two defined levers: water hygiene and feed stability.

• Low-residue water treatment – ASPERIX® hydrogen peroxide oxidizes organic pollutants in the water loop; the hydrogen peroxide itself catalytically decomposes into oxygen and water only.

• Less feed waste and nutrient loss – Adding 1 % Evonik silica reduces pellet friability by approximately 60 % and fat leakage during storage by approximately 50 % in high-fat aquafeed (up to ~37 % total fat), which lowers fines and reduces the nutrient load entering the water.

• Fewer process steps – With Evonik silica, the full oil quantity can be added during extrusion, allowing the separate oil-coating step to be skipped.
