Artificial stone—also known as acrylic solid surface—is a composite of fillers and acrylic polymers designed to replicate natural stone with improved processability and cost-efficiency. Evonik’s VISIOMER® Specialty Methacrylates allow formulators to fine-tune flexibility, rigidity, and sustainability—making them ideal for customized high-performance solid surface applications:

  • VISIOMER® EGDMA, VISIOMER® 1,4-BDDMA, VISIOMER® TMPTMA, VISIOMER® PEG 200 DMA – Crosslinkers that boost impact resistance, mechanical strength, and thermal stability while minimizing shrinkage.
