Paper Recycling

Hydrogen peroxide is a powerful bleaching and anti-biofouling agent for clean, bright recycled paper

Recycled paper based on de-inked pulp not only saves natural resources, it also uses up to 60% less energy compared to paper produced from virgin cellulose fibers.

Hydrogen peroxide, peracetic acid, and persulfates are used in various process steps for paper recycling. These include repulping, de-inking, binding, coating, and even wastewater treatment. The result is bright, high-quality recycled paper for applicaitons such as graphic paper (for example, newsprint, magazines, or copy paper), tissue paper (e.g., toilet paper, tissues, kitchen rolls), and packaging (labels, test liners, and more).
