Rocket Propulsion & Green Propellants

• PROPULSE® – High Test Peroxide (HTP) grades such as PROPULSE® 875, 900, 920, and 980 serve as powerful oxidizers in hybrid, bi- and monopropellant systems. Because hydrogen peroxide releases great amounts of energy without polluting the environment, PROPULSE offers power without a significant environmental footprint, making it ideal for next generation launch vehicles and space missions. Once in orbit, satellites can run on hydrogen peroxide for navigation and steering.
• POLYVEST® HT-A, a hydroxyl-terminated polybutadiene (HTPB), is our grade destined for aerospace applications, especially for solid and hybrid rocket propellants that are used in micro-thrusters, satellite launch vehicles and other propulsion systems.
