Solutions by Application 

Cured-in-Place Pipe (CIPP)  Relining

The CIPP method entails the placement and hardening of a resin-soaked liner inside an existing damaged pipe. It is frequently employed in the rehabilitation of pipeline systems. This process essentially creates a new, jointless and corrosion-resistant pipe within the existing one. A crucial aspect of this method’s effectiveness is the epoxy system utilized, usually consisting of an epoxy resin mixed with an appropriate curing agent like ANCAMIDE ® or ANCAMINE ®.  

  • ANCAMIDE® – Aliphatic amidoamine curing agents offer low viscosity and enhanced reactivity at elevated temperatures; suitable solution for on-site processing

  • ANCAMINE® – Modified amine hardeners for epoxy systems enhance fabric wetting, minimize material waste and improve overall throughput; suitable solution for factory impregnation

Evonik’s VISIOMER® Specialty Methacrylates monomers allow for the replacement of styrene in CIPP formulations to enable low-VOC formulations with long-term performance that cure using hot water, steam, or ultraviolet (UV) light.
