VISIOMER® N-MMAA is a bifunctional monomer possessing both vinyl and hydroxymethyl groups. Applications of N-MMAA range from adhesives and binders in papermaking, textiles, and non-wovens to a variety of surface coatings and resins for varnishes, films and sizing. The hydroxymethyl group in N-MMAA also enables thermally induced secondary crosslinking reactions, for example with carboxylic or primary amide moieties, offering enhanced performance and durability in cured systems.
VISIOMER® HEMA-P is a polymerizable flame-retardant combining phosphoric acid for fire resistance and a methacrylate group for stable integration into polymers. It delivers non-migrating flame protection and is ideal for transparent waterborne coatings on wood, paper, and textiles.
