As part of this year’s K Fair program, we are proud to participate in the panel discussion “LCA – Not an End in Itself”, featuring Dr. Florian Hermes from Evonik. In this session, Florian will share practical insights into how Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) is applied in business development, customer communication, and strategic decision-making – highlighting Evonik’s commitment to sustainability through advanced materials such as Polyamide 12 and PEEK. During the discussion, he will also highlight the evolution of our VESTAMID® product range, which has achieved a 30% reduction in carbon footprint since October 2023 – made possible by the use of renewable electricity and alternative raw materials. He will also introduce our eCO product range, manufactured using renewable energy and sustainably sourced raw materials. These products deliver exceptional performance while achieving up to 70% lower carbon emissions compared to conventional alternatives. Attendees will learn how these solutions can be seamlessly integrated into existing manufacturing processes without compromising quality.
