Evonik to increase price for Rexim® amino & keto acids

Evonik will apply a price increase of up to 15 percent on selected products within the Rexim® pharmaceutical amino and keto acid portfolio. The price increase is a response to rising energy, raw material and freight expenses. It will be effective immediately for all markets.

Evonik and Higuchi Inc., a leading Japanese trading company in the pharmaceutical sector, are opening a joint laboratory located in Yokohama, Japan. The “Open Pharma Lab” provides local formulators with hands‑on access to Evonik’s EUDRAGIT® polymers and broader system solutions expertise, supporting the growing demand for robust, patient‑centric oral dosage forms.

Evonik strengthens biotechnology capabilities for drug substance manufacturing with new investment in Slovakia

Evonik is investing around EUR 80 million to expand its biotechnology capabilities at its Fermas site in Slovenská Ľupča, Slovakia. The investment will add state-of-the-art downstream fermentation technology to support the contract manufacturing services of the group’s drug substance business. The expansion will create approximately 50 new jobs at the site.
